BLAST sponsors four fantastic students on BIGLITTLE Summer Schools

As part of BIGLITTLE ARTS SUPPORT TRUST outreach, the trustees were delighted to sponsor two children from local schools, who do not undertake any training in music or dance outside of school, on BIGLITTLE's "Summer School in a week" Frozen JR.

The children had a fantastic time and threw themselves into this new experience - it was lovely to meet their families who were very excited to see them perform, and to hear from the professional guest instructors that they had thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

One of the trust's objectives is to provide access to training for those with talent, who would otherwise not be able to pursue their passion and the trustees were also delighted to be able to sponsor two highly talented students on BIGLITTLE's '9 to 5' summer school project.  This provided them with the opportunity to experience the challenge, hard work (and enjoyment!)  of putting together a show, of an extremely high standard, in just a week. Both students were outstanding, and most grateful to BLAST for supporting them.

It is thanks to BLAST members who have joined and/or donated throughout the 2022-2023 school year, and those who have supported fundraising in other ways, that community outreach and the ability to provide opportunities such as this, are possible.
