Stewarding at Glastonbury Festival to raise money for BLAST!

2022 saw the return of the Glastonbury Festival - for its 50th anniversary!  Many may not be aware that most of the stewards at Glastonbury do their work for free - in return they get free entry to the festival, backstage secure camping (with showers!!) and a donation for the hours that they have worked is given to their nominated charity.

For over 20 years, James and Debs Douglas have led teams of stewards working in the Circus and Theatre area of the festival and from this year onwards, BLAST is their teams 'good cause'.

The 20 stewards worked over 400 hours over the course of the 4 days and look forward to finding out what donation BLAST will get from their 'hard' work :)
